Privacy Policy

      The short version: By default, MARS Studio apps do not collect, store, or share personal information. Your data stays on your device. A few features are opt-in and disabled by default — when you explicitly enable them, they send limited, non-personal data (such as a watchlist symbol list or a push notification device token) to our servers. Each app's privacy page lists exactly what leaves your device for each feature.
    

1. Our Privacy Commitment

This policy applies to all apps published by MARS Studio on the Apple App Store. Every app we build follows the same core principles:

No account registration required
No personal information collected (name, email, location)
No analytics or tracking SDKs
No advertising or advertising identifiers (IDFA)
All data stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework

2. Data Storage

All app data is stored locally on your device by default. This data:

Does not leave your device to MARS Studio servers unless you explicitly enable an opt-in feature (see Section 4)
Is included in iCloud backup if you have it enabled (controlled by you in iOS Settings)
Optional iCloud Sync (where available) is user-toggled and uses Apple's CloudKit
Is deleted when you delete the app

3. Third-Party Services

Our apps fetch data from public APIs. These requests are made directly from your device and do not pass through MARS Studio servers. No personal data is included in any API request — only public identifiers (stock tickers, currency codes, property tax reference numbers, etc.).

4. Optional Opt-In Features

Some features require sending limited, non-personal data to MARS Studio servers. These features are always disabled by default and require explicit, one-time consent before any data leaves your device. You can turn them off at any time.

Cloud Alerts (Horizon Market Compass v2.4+) — When enabled, sends your Apple Push Notification service (APNs) device token and the list of symbols in your watchlist to our Cloudflare backend so we can deliver daily market-close notifications. We do not send your name, email, location, portfolio value, cost basis, holdings, trade history, or API keys. Full disclosure: Horizon Market Compass Privacy Policy, Section 5.

Share Links (Horizon Market Compass) — When you choose to share a portfolio view, the snapshot is uploaded to our Cloudflare storage for a time-limited window (1 hour to 90 days, then auto-deleted). Data sent via opt-in features is used only to deliver the feature. It is never sold, used for advertising, used for cross-app tracking, or shared with third parties.

5. Children's Privacy

MARS Studio apps do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Our apps contain no features directed at children.

6. Changes to This Policy

Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of any MARS Studio app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
