Three reasons it earns its place
01

See your income before it arrives

A 365-day forward dividend calendar and a per-month, per-account income forecast lay out what is coming and when. Every account gets its own money-weighted annualized return.

02

Put quality before yield

The Compounder Score sits over Income, Growth, and Value lenses behind a quality gate on returns on capital and leverage. Two-stage DCF with bear, base, and bull paths. Piotroski F-Score and Altman Z-Score from SEC-filed balance sheets. 13F ownership across 20 tracked investors. And because a high yield is not income if it is your own money coming back, every covered-call fund gets a read built from payout consistency, income coverage, and NAV preservation through a full year, with high return of capital judged through the NAV trend rather than condemned on sight: NAV preserved, NAV slipping, or principal eroding.

03

Keep track of what you owe

Every payout is recorded with the tax year it belongs to, so the income side of your year is already assembled when you need it. Buys create tax lots and sells consume them by the method you choose, with a live view of the long-term and short-term split before you commit. Statement and Form 8949-style exports come out the other end.

For covered call and option income funds, Compounder HQ estimates how each distribution splits between income and return of capital, and applies return of capital to your cost basis where it has a figure for that fund. These are estimates, and coverage varies by fund. The funds we carry a tax split for are listed here, along with the ones we track without one. Your 1099-DIV is the authority, and you can enter it in the app to override anything we estimated.

The part nobody else built

You do not have to live in the US to hold US stocks. Nine residencies with treaty withholding built in, foreign tax credit modeled where it exists, and 19 international tax wrappers modeled (NISA, iDeCo, ISA, SIPP, SRS, MPF, IRP, NPS, PPF and more) as real entities. Tax-advantaged accounts shelter domestic tax only; US withholding still applies to the income portion, and Compounder HQ shows you that line.
