CloudSweep indexes them all, finds the copies — exact byte-identical matches and visually-similar re-encoded or edited copies — and helps you clear the extras safely. CloudSweep matches across all your connected sources at once: exact byte-identical matching via checksums, plus visually-similar matching that catches re-encoded and edited copies. All of it runs entirely on your device.
Safe by Design
Every removal goes to a recoverable trash (typically ~30 days). CloudSweep always keeps at least one copy of a file — it will never delete the last one. And any file that changed after the scan is never touched: the app re-verifies before acting, so a stale index can't cost you data.
Honest Hand-Offs
Your Google Photos Takeout and downloaded Amazon Photos libraries are copies of your originals — deleting the copy doesn't touch the photo still living in the service. Instead of pretending, CloudSweep guides you to the original so you can remove it in Google Photos or Amazon Photos yourself. No false promises, no silent failures.
Cross-cloud duplicate detection
Scan your device photo library and every connected cloud in one pass. Exact duplicates are found by byte-identical checksum matching; visually-similar duplicates — re-encoded, resized, or lightly edited copies — are caught by on-device visual fingerprinting. Nothing is uploaded for analysis.

On the roadmap
Google Drive and Dropbox scanning, plus verified checksum-checked backups to your own Google Drive, are coming in a future update — they're not part of the first release.
